IDEA – IT: Stuck with a Business Issue?

Finding a lucrative company idea is the first step in starting any business, and it’s also the most difficult for many people. Thousands of entrepreneurs have struggled to identify their “One True Idea,” as the GrowthLab team and I have witnessed. The majority of the time, it ends in heartbreak. But it isn’t always the concept that breaks your heart.

It’s when people refuse to let go of a “poor” idea and allow it to lead them down the path to idea purgatory, where ideas and dreams fade away. Where there is no instant success or defeat. Where change is always around around the corner. And, for better or worse, they stay with it, sometimes persuading themselves that it’s a consumer problem rather than an idea problem.
