Simplify Process with Augmented Reality

As you watch the science fiction movies you are in awe with the use of virtual reality and augmented reality and in the gaming industry you see it being used to bring alive the surrounding world in a way it is engaging. Imagine the same engagement in you daily work. Augment means to add or enhance something. In the case of augmented reality graphics, sound and touch feedback are added into our natural world to enhance user experience. The application in AR is at workstation or layout optimization, digital twins, training, documentation, comparing the plan vs actual performance, remote PM, Alert system among others. The use of AR/VR in healthcare alone will reach around 7B in health care by 2026. The implementation requires hardware – smart glasses coupled with handphones or smart watch, the development of the apps and the training of the use.
