Wireless IO Link

It is used for the communication between PLC and field sensors/Actuators. From Wireless IO Link to Field sensors/actuators communication is established through wireless medium & from Wireless IO Link to PLC communication is through Fieldbus. We can connect 8 Sensors to this device. In robotic arms, Hygienic areas wired communication may fail due to stress on the wires/cable so there wireless communication can achieve good reliability.

Specification

  • Switching type of power supply is used to meet the power requirements of processor, RF module & other interfaces.
  • RF module working at 2.4 GHz is used for communication with the field sensors.
  • RF Module is interfaced through UART
  • Ethernet used for fieldbus communication.
  • External memory is used for achieving the memory requirements.
